Durex Close Fit CondomsDurex is a brand of condoms made by a British company called SSL (now owned by Reckitt Benckiser) and very popular in the UK. They make very high quality condoms that are trusted by millions of people every year.

We often get asked "are Durex Close Fit Condoms genuinely smaller condoms in comparison to regular sized condoms?". Durex Close Fit Condoms are described on the Durex website as

"..narrower than standard condoms to provide a tighter fit for extra confidence.."

so you might certainly expect them to be a little smaller.

According to the same website, Durex Close Fit condoms have a nominal width of 49mm (this is an industry term for the width of the opening of the condom, when laid-flat).

In comparison to a Durex Elite condom (which isn't advertised on the site as being large or small) it's certainly a smaller nominal width.

But, the same website tells us that the length of a Durex Close Fit condom is 178mm - that's more than 7 inches!

So are Durex Close Fit condoms genuinely small condoms? 7 inches long doesn't sound small.

In comparison to Coripa condoms, TheyFit condoms start in lengths as short as 125mm (4.92”), rising to 240mm (9.4") - 10 different lengths in total. TheyFit condoms have nominal widths from 45mm out to 69mm - 10 different nominal widths in total. Combined, there are 66 unique TheyFit sizes.

Why? Because we believe that a better fit, means better sex.
